So, hopefully we will only have 5-6 months until travel, but it sounds like there is potential for the wait to be longer. In our most recent email update, they said that the Thai Government social worker that processes most, if not all, of our agency's cases is experiencing health problems and will have surgery in November. So, currently cases are being processed at a slower rate and our agency does not know if there will be backup for the social worker during the surgery and recovery time. Therefore, we need to be prepared for possible delays. We are currently hoping for First Approval in December or January but we will just have to see how it works out.
Something I forgot to mention is that my friend I visited last weekend made Chat a crochet baby blanket! She is so good at doing crafts and I love the colors. It will fit very well in his room. :)
