I'm writing this post from my airplane ride home! So glad to finish this trip. :)
Yesterday class ended by 11:30 so a friend and I got changed and wandered around the Jefferson memorial looking for cherry trees with blossoms. :) We did find a few, there was one tree that was almost fully in bloom but all the trees around it weren't. You could actually distinguish it from across the lake. It was a really beautiful day and a good way to end the trip.
Then I visited a couple of museums before meeting another friend for dinner. The Natural History museum had a beautiful orchid exhibit and I got some pictures. :) Between the Botanical Gardens and this exhibit, I've seen a lot of orchids this trip, definitely more orchids than cherry blossoms. :) The only adoption related news is that I got a text yesterday while I was in the art museum confirming that USCIS got our I-800! :)
Enjoy the pictures.
