First Approval!!

We got first approval today (last night in Thailand)! I was completely not expecting it since it usually takes several days for the information to reach our agency, but they got it early this time!

I can't take my phone into training so I usually check it during breaks. We were on a break and I saw I had a text from my brother, so I responded to that. Then I saw I had a missed call from an Oregon number! I listened to the message and our agency contact said she had good news! That is when I jumped around in the hallway. :) Then I called her back hoping that it was THE good news we've been waiting on and it was! Then I jumped around some more in the hallway. :) Fortunately we were close to being done with class for the day because I could not pay attention. I even missed my metro stop on the way back to the hotel because I was texting everyone. :)

I am going to find a Thai restaurant to celebrate at sometime this week, I just wish I was home so Robby and I could go together. :( I guess we will just have to go out when I get back too. :)

The Article 16 should come in the next 2-8 weeks and then we can file the I-800 and schedule our travel dates. :) The most recent family to get approval received their Article 16 in 3 weeks, so hopefully ours will also be at the shorter end of the time period.

I believe two other families also got approval at this meeting so hopefully we will travel with them! That would be so much fun!

I'm so glad this period of waiting is over!! God is amazing!! And it is the first day of Spring, lots of good things today! :)
