December Update!

We received our December update today! It is great to read about how Chat is doing and see more pictures of him. In this case, the pictures were taken about a month before the ones we received at the beginning of this month so he doesn't look much different.

It sounds like he is doing pretty well. He has made good progress and is now on target for his age! :) That is great to hear. He hasn't really gained any weight or grown since June, but they discovered that he is allergic to cow's milk and seems to be doing better now that he is on a lactose free, instant milk.

The report said they have begun preparing him for adoption and introducing him to us using the photo album. I am glad they do so much to try to prepare the children as much as possible. It sounds like he is very attached to his foster mom, so I am sure he will have a hard time at first. We will have to be prepared for a lot of grieving.

Another piece of good news is that we found a psychologist who can meet with us tomorrow! I will be glad to get the letter finished and on its way to Thailand! Many thanks to our friends who helped us find the psychologist!

The other cool thing is that I will be an aunt soon! Robby's sister went in to labor this morning, so hopefully tonight or tomorrow we will get to see our niece's little face. :) Such happy news this Friday!
