It really is amazing how much kids change, I don't think I would have recognized Chat if I had randomly seen the pictures. There was about five months in between these pictures and the second most recent pictures we have of him, so I guess that was to be expected.
From the report, it looks like he is doing pretty well. His original foster family returned to Australia, so he was moved to a Thai foster family since his April report. Sounds like he grieved at the beginning, but is now attached to his new foster mother. That is good news for us, since he will have to make another adjustment when we come and hopefully he will adjust well the second time too. It looks like the only lingering effect is that he isn't eating that well. He grew eight centimeters from January to July, but lost about one pound. :( Hopefully he will start filling out again.
I love all the pictures of him, especially in the push wagon thing. He seems to be a happy boy. :) It looks like the pictures were taken before they got our first package, but maybe our next update will have him in something we sent. :)
Not really sure what I think of him on the motor bike, but I'm sure they didn't let him drive. :)
I am assuming that is baby powder on his face. I understand they use it pretty generously on children after baths. I do miss all of his hair, but it must be hot there. We will let it grow when he gets home. :)
