This is our birthday month! Since our birthdays are so close together (13th and 18th) we tend to combine the celebrations. Although I think this year we will each have our own cakes. :) Since we don't know when Haku was born, we put his birthday celebration in the middle of ours. ;)
It is fortunate for him that his birthday is so soon because otherwise he was going to have to deal with the mess he made of his dog bed a while longer. Fortunately that is the only thing he tears up, but the one he gets for his birthday had better last him a year, or at least until Christmas. :)
This weekend has been plant centric. :) We went to a plant sale on Saturday and then bought a couple of small trees on Sunday, so now the yard looks like this. Yay for more green! :)

You know Haku couldn't have really been the one to tear up that bed, don't you? Haven't you heard of the night time bed-tearing chewbits? They do things like that hoping to get the good dogs in trouble. We have a few of those out in the garage. Either that or a giant, black and white, pointy-eared, tailess mouse :)
I guess we must have a large, black and tan mouse. :)
