We are (hopefully) at least halfway through the wait to travel! We should only have four to five months left. It still sounds like a long time, but the holidays always seem to go by quickly. I can't believe it is already almost November!
We've been staying really busy this month between choir, tae kwon do, getting ready for Chat and other random things that come up. We checked out a few daycare options and we have two that we really like. Out of the two, the one we like best is set up more like a "preschool" than just a daycare. So as long as they still have openings next summer we will probably use them. If not, the second favorite is also a great option. The daycare centers around here don't seem to need any sort of waiting list. They both said they usually have openings around the time Chat should be starting next year. I guess with the military and kids moving up as they get older, they always have some turnover.
We also bought a dresser on craigslist. :) It is just the right size, not too big and not too small. I think we will paint it, maybe white or something. I may have to look for some ideas to make it fun. Maybe a stencil of an animal for the front?
We've had this pretty much decided for a while now, but I don't think I have posted anything about it yet. We have a name! Since Robby is the 4th, we wanted to keep the family name for our first boy. So, Chat's official name will be Robert Stephen Gray V and we will continue to use his Thai nickname. We think his nickname is Chat, but we won't know for sure until we travel to Thailand. We may change our minds after meeting him, we won't be able to finalize his new name until months after we get home anyways, but for now, this is what we are planning. :)
