At this time last year, we were sending in our application to adopt from Thailand! It is hard to believe that it has already been a year, but at the same time it seems like we have been in this adoption process for a long time!
In the last year we have applied to Holt, completed our home study and dossier, started on the wait list at #18, been approved to adopt by USCIS, moved to #16, then #9 and finally #8. It really is a lot of progress for a year.
Hopefully in this next year we will be matched with a child and travel to Thailand! If we are matched in June, it is definitely possible that we will travel by this time next year. One year ago that all seemed so far away. Now, it looks much closer. :)
